Shortly after the last Sneakerness my lucky fairy proved that she is at my side, because the main prize went to me. So last weekend I started my trip to Cologne and visited the guys and girls of TGWO, because I was allowed to take some KangaROOS with me.
As you can see, I chose the dark blue “Ultimate Leather”. The name is also definitely program. The shoe captivates with its upper made of dark blue, perforated pigskin and the beige lining, also made of pigskin. The whole look is rounded off by the Gum Outsole and the white Midsole. Beautiful details are the typical KangaROOS pocket in the tongue, which of course should not be missing, and the almost continuous perforation in the upper of the shoe. I also like the “Dynacoil” damping of the midsole, because it is neither too soft nor too hard and gives enough grip when walking. Since tastes are different, I recommend that you strap the moped to your foot and take a few steps with it.
But be careful when sizing, because there are no half sizes. I felt KangaROOS to be “true to size”. But since the “Ultimate Leather” has a lining made of leather, you can go down half a size almost without hesitation – but: Try it over study.
High quality from Kangaroos – the shoe is definitely worth seeing! Beside the above mentioned materials it also boasts a top workmanship and shows that you don’t always have to buy limited collabs to have a well made shoe with super materials. In my opinion you should also keep an eye on KangaROOS and their models far away from “Made in Germany” products, because the price/performance ratio is more than good – therefore a clear recommendation to buy from me!
